yes,
Flooding the market with defective products of any other nature would land one in deep doo-doo, but Microsoft do it 'every time' and get away with it.
Imagine a car company with the same attitude as Microsoft? let the public test our over-priced, over-rated vehicles and when there have been 1 million crashes we will release a fix that the owner has to fit themselves... Or Boeing, we will see how well these planes stay airborne for a year or so and then amend the design later...
