Yall say thay were using nitrous. Why dont thay check the summit boys for it too. Its funny how every year about midway threw the season. Thay would be down in points. Then all of a sudden thay start setting records and win the points. Check the roll cages. The dodge boys were never caught for it. so whos to say thay were using nitrous.

@Hicks4knfilters And if chrysler cant make the power that GM does, why is SS/AH the fastest superstock class in the world?(Fact) The A-Bodied hemi barracudas & darts got that class all to themselves. Reason: No GM Superstock car can even come close... Infact you could take the best GM SS car on the planet and match him up with one of the worst SS/AH hemi cars in a headsup and the GM would get waxed (Fact). Get off of the Gm bandwagon. They mass produced cheap bs while chrysler was innovating.

@Hicks4knfilters And another thing, if you want to talk about factory engineering back in the days, chrysler was WAY ahead of their time.They were the first to use from the factory: Electronic ignition, gear reducted starters, an altenator, 18deg heads, angle plugged heads, shaft based rocker arms, skirted blocks, external oiling provisions, raised cam height, hemi heads and alot lot more. And alot of what i just mentioned is what GM guys have to buy aftermarket. To each there own though.

@Hicks4knfilters Well, to begin with there was only one backfire out of the hood scoop from the wayne county car(s). how do you know it wasn't a hung intake valve or broken distributor gear? And another thing.... MOPAR cant make the power that GMs do??!?!!? have you ever watched the fuel cars? Everyone of the fuel cars run a chrysler based hemi.. ~9000hp. it is nice of GM and ford to sponsor these ars though..placing there logo / bodystyle on a chassis thats powered by the chrysler based hemi.

@DavidW2340 yeah sure thats why the cars would straight explode out the hood scoop and it was mysteriously only the dodges thats odd isnt it I think it is they werent ahead of their time because they used nitrous, they did it because dodge cant make the power. Look at the Dodges now how are they doin... won any championships lately... OH no they havent cause they dont make the power GM does

@Hicks4knfilters "cheater"? the dodge cars were toredown constantly.Noone EVER found anything to do with nitrous after numerous nit picking teardowns. if the people shit talking actually knew what it took to set up nitrous to begin with.sure you can setup "hidden" nitrous but when they have your car toreown to the bareblock and floorpans theres no hiding it.wayne county simply was a few years ahead of their time in prostock.
