Got plastered drinking Oly many times as a teen.

I live here in WA. I use to buy Oly about 9 years ago then it disapeared from shelves. Now about 8 months ago I see it everywhere in the stores. Very weird. The can logo has changed color and is a little different. Same great beer. Also says it brewed by Pabst on the can which it has been for years.

I live in Olympia and have my whole life and though its not brewed here anymore i love it!

Oly was a good beer before they sold out to Miller then Pabst. Now there is a move to get investors to reopen the brewery and bring Oly back to Tumwater. They also want to market the beer in the stubby 11oz bottles. Here's hoping they get the investors.

Ha, I live in tumwater about 1/4 mile from the brewery. I drive right by it every day. I want to go check out the OLD brewery building sometime. As far as I know, its been abandoned for years.

It used to be "the water from Tumwater", but not anymore as I believe its brewed out of state. Back when I lived in Oly, Miller bought the brewery and didn't actually make Oly beer there.

This is the beer that Dustin Hoffman drank in the pool in The Graduate (to the tune of Simon & Garfunkel's "Sound of Silence").
Dustin Hoffman also starred in Rain Man..hmm...another water connection.
I have never tried Olympia.

I have some in my fridge right now (seriously). It's tastes similar to Pabst Blue Ribbon. It's actually brewed by Pabst now. It's decent cheap American beer.
