White-eye...Scratch me tender.../ メジロ...優しく掻いてね〜。

A farmer who found a baby white-eye on his farm took her/him to the gas station at which I regularly get some gas, knowing that the people there have a good reputation of taking care of abandoned baby birds.
Now the baby has grown.
What she/he loves the most is a real good scratch on her/his neck.

You seem like a wonderful care-giver and friend to your little bird - but my Dear, birds need a MUCH bigger cage then yours appears to have!!!!

I don't keep the bird, you understand it?

Besides, they keep the cage open all the time and the bird flies out and in quite freely.

Much better than a much bigger cage that's locked up I guess.

Thank you Kaycatkat ! This is the kind of thing we all dream to do with our birds !

I love this video ! When I go to visit my Father in Northern Ontario , Canada, birds suddenly just fly down and land upon him.

Some even start looking for the food that they know he has in his pockets. It's quite funny when I take a freind , and when a bird sits upon him he doesn't pay any attention , the freinds invariably say, " Hey , there's a bird sitting on your shoulder !".
