A bold effort: MKULTRA

In the 1950's the CIA developed a research program, MKULTRA, aiming to learn brainwashing techniques (which they were later hoping to use on enemies, such as Fidel Castro).

In Montreal from 1957 until 1964, Dr. Donald Ewen Cameron was hired to test possible mind control techniques on unknowing patients, using high doses of LSD and electroconvulsive therapy.

During the experiments subjects were put into a coma, then tape loops of noise or simple repetitive statements were played.

All of the research was funded by the CIA and the Canadian government.

I was one of Dr Cameron's patients in Montreal . The CIA under there MKUltra project paid Cameron. He used LSD,Massive Electric shocks and weeks of sleep as a tape played. When we found out the truth late 70's we sued the CIA and after 8 years they settled. I am telling my story on You Tube called youkilledyourmother

I am in the process of finding a producer that can turn my story into a docudrama because i was in my late teens early 20's when this happened. The CBC does supply grants to people that have produced documentarys under there Doc Zone site there is a place for producers to apply for grants

i hope you are able to make a film. people need to be more aware of what happened, and how institutionalized people are actually treated in regards to consent and human rights.

i already received a grant to make the animation...
