I own the PS2 version and I think it's awesome! You get to learn about the characters which I think it really cute!

on what type of game consol can u play this on? and is it even selling anymore?

it has a long way to go before it can touch pump in it's innovative style, music, and stepcharts. DDR X is many, many steps back.

Nobody should recommend SN2 to a beginner, the missions are difficult for even most experienced players, and they are afaik only way to get new songs.

No, just a dance pad. But usually the game is sold with it.

I want one with the more anime-ish feel. =o

In my opinion, technically the best game is DDR X ! But if you search a game with anime video backgrounds, SuperNova 2 (japanese version) is really good !

I was afraid X would be like the wii ddrs. they have a horrible format, and every song is redone by a less talented individual. But i was surprised, for X was great! its format was similar to the older ddrs and only one song was redone by a different singer (at least that I know of). Get Dance Dance Revolution X, get fit, and have fun!
