It's built in the Czech Republic alongside the i30. Seeing a few on UK roads now and in the metal it really is a discreetly stylish looking car. The rakish nose and strong shoulder line give it a nice purposeful stance and much more road presence than would of been expected.
Great reviews by all motoring journalists and forums regarding the ride, space, build quality and low ownership costs, not to forget the smart looks, definitely on my short-list as a second car. Fantastic!

If you check the wikipedia website it states that "The i20 is manufactured solely in India for sale worldwide"!!

It's not build in India, but in Hungarian i thought. That is where they make the i30.

wrong... i30 is built in Czech Republic... it's also planned that most mainstream vehicles will be built in Europe except budget cars, which will be built in India...
