Isn't it ironic that detractors of the BBC have to use the BBC's own news story to back up their arguments? Doesn't the BBC's prompt and honest response signal that they are in fact accountable?
The BBC has far too much power, it keeps usurping it, increasing it. It is the 'third house of parliament' But it remains unelected and, especially, unaccountable.
