Idea is nice but demo is worst.

Seems like a neat idea!

When does this go into effect?

I do think the presentation could have been a little more clear, but on the other hand, the concept is a bit complex (not the implementation) and the bottom line is that this is targeted more towards big content hosts, blog authored apps, and aggregators than to normal users. For most normal users, they'll just start to see this implemented silently in the backend (if this takes off). I mean, how many bloggers ever take a close look at their feed XML? How many bloggers even know what XML is?

these presentators are bummers. can´t explain anything to anybody...

PubSubHubbub may be interesting, but I have no idea how it works by watching this demo.

It's awesome, but it's a totally bumbling demo. :)
