Although I do wish the wrapped things up better, I don't regret the direction they took. If only they had more eps and a bigger budget.

sora means sky; in japanese the ra character sounds like a cross between ra, and la. Somthing like rla, lol. But most americans can't pronounce it so they the roomanji for it is usually ra. I think the creators went with la this time because sola means alone in spanish. Sky and lonliness are big themes in the story, =p
