Simon's just rocking out and playing with feedback and anarchic noise. Fun!

Well everybody has the right to have a bad moment and dear Simon is not different =)

And you are wrong. I have been to two concerts where they played nearly perfectly for 3.5 hours and similar crashes have taken place. It is not exactly a part of the show but more to do with the atmosphere of a particular song in order to make it more effective.

Simon is quite a nervous person... I mean, these "crashes" may seem to be part of the show, but I seriously doubt it. I really think he does this everytime a concert has gone wrong for him. I may be wrong...

I imight be wrong... I've seen them in 1981, 1984, 1985, 1987 (twice), 1989 (twice), 1992 (4 times), 1993 (yeah, for their only concert), 1996 (twice), 2000 (twice). But never since then (for reasons I will not talk about here). That's more than twice...
The only time I've seen Simon melting a fuse was for their first concert at Le Zénith, Paris 1992. He smashed his Dick Knight bass in piece that night and left the stage... Certainly a good night for him to remember...
