BMW M3 vs Z28 LS1 Kris Krohn

Going at it with a z28 Z loses it in a corner.The z28 has been modified w racing tires and suspension upgrades and a big break kit along with an air intake. Im running street tires Fuzions and 100% stock no mods car.

Camaros are a straight line car they are heavy and suck in the corners. Did you hear the driver of the BMW say how much mods the camaro driver had to do to get it to run like that. Its basically a whole different car and it still went off the track.. Camaro owners keep your cars at the drag strip.

@williecycle @JPARKERZ28 that camaro had alot more than 2k worth of mods done to it. It was more like full on roll cage , gutted interior for weight reduction , numerous engine modifications.. shit the break kit was probably more than 2k alone on that thing. Anyone who here who thinks a camaro with only 2k worth of additions can run with a BMW E46 on a track is ignorant.

wow i thought this beamer driver was gona pass him on a corner or something in that last lap the camaro was pulling away...its ok im satisfied with the camaro's performance i would love to take my camaro on a track like that...with suspension work properly done on mine im sure it'll handle great

@krohn63 I've seen Z28's do some cool shit stock. They don't handle as good as an M3, but they will beat it in a straight away for sure. Shit, they have more than a hundred horsepower more depending on the year.

I was waiting for the e46 to pass since it's such a superior car. Suspension tuning can make alot possible. To say domestics can't handle and only go fast in a straight line is old school BS.

you do know that a E46 M3 and M6 LS1 Camaro weigh close to the same right ?

F-bodys can handle , just you really need to know what your doing to push them to their limits (i dont). the only limiting factor is the live axle, however being a 4 link, solong as the road is smooth they actually feel quite planted. the fact you can run 315's in the the back and 275's in the front helps too. To say no camaro can handle is an inaccurate statement.

@krohn63 theres no way a brake upgrade would cost 2k for an f-body, also the camaro doesnt have IRS, and in the description it also says an air intake? so a lid or a filter or are you talking about the manifold? so what are the numerous engine modifications? personally I think you can get more performance out of an ls1 fbody than the bmw for the same amount of money spent track or strip but dont get me wrong id still love to have either of those cars

@krohn63 alright camaros can handle just not well stock. and sounds too me that the guy in the camaro has money. not talant=P haha but the BMW did good but my camaro has a lot of suspension done and i think mine handle's better than that one. everyone says american cars cant handle. not true. anything can handle with some time and money. if my american muscle car can only go straight fast then your import cant go fast in a straight line. anything is possible guys stop arguing=]

@krohn63 they can and do simple as that. you take a good driver and let him drive both i am sure he would have a better time in the bmw... but just because you have an e46 doesn't mean you are a race car driver. i have seen many camaros take these out in time attacks that was my point
