One major difference btwn Friends and HIMYM is HIMYM is bit more mature in terms of people.. educated with good jobs and talk more real stuff.. they point out so many stuff which is really happening in our mid twenties life.. Frnds was more of fun and i feel HIMYM is more of knowledge of me.. how they easily explain lot of aspects of life in HIMYM is awesome.. Cant compare.. it wont be fair.. i feel HIMYM is next level of friends.. The way they end every episode with a lesson is sopper awesome

I don't know why you guys always compare HIMYM and Friends, I mean, the characters are a little similar between them, but the plot is different. And you CAN'T compare Barney with Joey!! I mean, Barney is legendary. And the couple he makes with Robin is perfect!
