DTHB to DTLBC Grand Prix 4/15/07

Ride from Huntington Beach Pier to downtown Long Beach for the Toyota Grand Prix. Then onto the Queen Mary.

head count= 16 total
head wind= ~30mph
temp= 65-70 clear sunny with slight monsoon.
total time= 9hrs. we left the peir at 1300, i got home at 2200.
mileage= 32mi round trip (not including riding our bikes on the toyota grand prix race course and other random riding around)
number of photos shot= 148
number of videos shot= 61
number of flats= 1
number of single person crashes= 3
number of collisions= 1 (resulting in 1 severely out-of-true rim)
number of injuries= 0
number of stops at bike shops for repairs= 1
number of times people stopped to discuss turning back= 3
number of stops= too many
number of people who actually finished the full round trip= 5
number of punches ( + other things) thrown by tanner= 0
number of hard looks tanner gave to passer-bys= i only saw 1 (but there could be many more).
number of tricks by joe joe= i lost count after about 156.

number of tux clad film makers asking to film us riding = 1
