They didn't mean it in a bad way i think... they said stealing because many people thought he is too old and he "stole" it from the big favourites Lemond and Argentin.

@kvmusic i dont think they meant he stole it like it was unfair. I think they just meant the favorites like Lemond probably felt like they could've won and he stole that from them

I srsly cant see how you people can even cal this a stolen win from joop..
He personally took down the attackers, then he Solo attacked 2 km for the finish and nailed it.
Joop is one of the best cyclers ever.
