A Gloomy Day at Simon Fraser University

We had just seen two days of snow when a Pineapple Express rammed the British Columbian West Coast. I had decided to take my digital camera up to the Burnaby Mountain campus of Simon Fraser University and shot most of this unplanned. I apologize for the video quality, as this is the only equipment I have at the moment for downloading footage onto my computer.

This architecture is the international style promulgated by Le Corbusier: generous uses of concrete, strait lines and right angles, elevated floors, and free-form interiors. It can be disconcerting to new students, but if its familiar to you I hope you will feel right at home.

This is where I'm going for my year abroad in September 2009, the architecture is exactly the same as my home uni (University of East Anglia). Fantastic!
