Re: Global Youth Service Day

For Global Youth Service Day our projects was the Georgia College & State University Leadership Community Peace Corps Correspondence Match project. The goal of our project was to set up a correspondence between students at Oak Hill Middle School and students in Kenya.

During our presentation we had Amy Clark, a peace core volunteer, speak about her time in the peace core also we read letters for some the Kenya students. We had foreign exchange students from Kenya speak to the middle schoolers and teach a dance. Also we made mandzi, a Kenyan treat for the children.

The video is about 10 minutes long so i suggest you skip around and also some of it is sideways because I am not an expert camera person....
