OPEC fails to reach agreement on oil supply

The Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries has failed to reach a consensus over production levels, after Saudi Arabia pushed for an increase in supply at a meeting in Vienna, the Austrian capital.

Al Jazeera's Jonah Hull reports from Vienna.

the price of oil has nothing to do with demmand, it is rising because of speculation and the devaluation of the U.S dollar by the Quantitative easing measures

Oil IS the base of our modern economy, the price is rising not because of opec and opec can not fix it no matter what they do

I've NOT forgotten that Oil is what powers the world and OPEC controls it. Without it, there would be no other commodities, or even Pork Bellies, azs Oil is a component of fertilizer used on commercial farms. which grow food for pigs to eat.
