Dr. Khemadasa, the Doyen of Sinhala Music ushered to the Global Arena, once commenting on Jothi eulogized how unique his voice was for playback singing. At the same time, he singularly mentioned about Dharmadasa Walpola too as an undying personality on the Sinhala silver-screen. This substantiates that very fact! The song reminded me of myself singing it at a kids concert in the early 80s...! LOL :) Many Thanks!

this is an incredible song.

I have listened to this thousands of times (that is true). I never get enough of it. Dharmadasa W was at his best. There is a similar (not the same tune) song by D W in "Ramyalatha" - same music D - Muttusamy.

That song is "kadima satha, tikiri suda"
