  • @alvie53 He's playing a Custom 24, one of the more stratty sounding PRS models.

  • I'm going to assume that for starters you must have a good Les Paul to hear this amp's capability to sound like Duane's 50-watt Marshall, because the sound here isn't even close to Duane's. Paul is a brilliant and passionate guy about guitars and amps and it's really hard for me to believe that this amp isn't capable of sounding way more like Allman's than this video would indicate.

  • What cab and speakers are you using for this? What pickups are in that guitar? I LOVE the tone you're getting on this demo!!! Killer...

  • I think it's Duane's amp, it is called "DA" after all.

  • Did they get a hold of Duane or Dickey's Marshall from that era? Is that the "holy grail" amp he is talking about?

  • OMG that is sweet. I have always been a Marshall man but that amp is outstanding. Want one!!!!!!!!!!
