O que acontece quando o homem desafia as leis de Deus e da ciência?
Para o Capitão Walton (o vencedor do Globo de Ouro Donald Sutherland) e sua tripulação, a resposta pode vir de um jovem cientista chamado Victor Franskenstein (Alec Newman, de Filhos de Duna), que foi encontrado quase morto nas águas geladas.
Obcecado pela não-solução da morte e convencido de que o corpo humano precisa apenas de eletricidade para continuar vivo, ele passa a escavar cemitérios e monta uma criatura a partir de corpos humanos.
Mas a ressurreição dessa criatura é apenas o começo de uma das histórias mais famosas em todo o mundo. Frankenstein é uma das adaptações mais fiéis da obra milenar de Mary Shelley sobre amor e imortalidade.

I know that many of you are commenting on how the creature does not look the least bit hideous, and I would certainly have to agree with you on that. However, if you have seen the original illustration, you may notice that he is quite similar to how the creature is portrayed here, especially at certain angles.

Oh, someone PLEASE post this entire series! It's a lot of fun to watch on many levels and Luke Goss' performance as the creature is nothing short of flawless!
