Focus ST-3 Engine Replacement

Got sent this car up from a boy in London. Two snapped con rods ended the original engines life after 37,000. This is a quick vid to check that all of the wiring was setup correctly on the new engine.

Seems to be alot of ford drivers tat like to to that then :) Because i have seen alot of engine replacements on later model fords.

Seems like BMW drivers actually know how to change gears then. How hard can it be? Seems to be a lack of intelligence with ford owners, but luckily not my problem, as i drive a BMW :)

@mrzkhan1 I do like BMW and I want a 335d one day but if Ford acted more like Vauxhall and were a bit more humble about the cars they sell they wouldn't be half as bad. Given their reputation for selling garbage over the years their lies are catching up to them and they can't hide behind the trojan horse anymore. The public are realising Ford are selling crap cars at higher prices making them out to be German quality when they aren't and people are now turning away. Its no surprise really.

@mrzkhan1 If Ford put the rust proofing into Fords, the gas stuts under the bonnet, ditched the rear drum brakes and used BMW or Toyota engines I might be inclined to want one. But they don't, 100 years of motoring and Fords still burst into flames, fall apart and rust like it goes out of fashion. Ford remain arrogant and blow their own trumpets about their own cars being Audi and BMW quality when they are total garbage worse then GM and thats why I will be forced to prefer BMW and Audi.

@T5R92011 A Mondeo ST220 better looking than a BMW? Mondeo's are the most disgustingly common and dull shapes of cars (Box shape) and no one ever looks twice at them except maybe an idiot without much of a brain. If you said an Alfa Romeo Lusso parked next to a Beamer was 3 times better looking I might be inclined to agree with you but a Mondeo!? No way...

@FocusRS1991 Tribants were also made in Germany. Ford of Europe being built in Germany is just another repeat of a Tribant. BMW, Audi and Mercedes are all German companies stamped with a German approval so wherever they are made they carry that quality. Ford is an American company assembling cars in Germany stamped with an American approval which pretty much chucks the "German quality" thoery of Ford EU right out the window... Thats why Fords are so rubbish wherever they are made.

@WEAJHD i no what ur sayin about bmw and my couzin kinda got hypnotised when i showed him a showroom to buy a 3 series. he only like bmw now and he says its the only good car u can buy :S-he bought a gold one. i looooovvveeeeeeeeeeee bmw especially the 5 series from 2008 but only petrol ones lol, if only ford would put bmw engines in their cars and stop sucking up to volvo

@grahamek86 That makes Fords excusable and cheap to buy does it? Nothing excuses clanky bonnets that sound like alleyway trash cans and old bent crowbars to hold the bonnet up instead of refined gas pistons. You get some nice value for money with a Ford don't you Grahame? A rattling squeaky bonnet, panel gaps so huge you can enter the car without opening the doors, and plastics which are so thin and nasty the last time you saw plastic like that it had a CD inside. Lol
