Quite correct about there not being enough wealth to cover money right now -- massively correct in fact. That is what will engender further economic collapse in the years to come. I foresee deflation prior to hyper-inflation though.
We may well think we 'want' a Greater Depression, but I can assure you, no-one will enjoy it when it comes, and it won't make a better society.
The current world monetary system does not fulfill human needs.
We have been warned throughout history by the prophets that if we consider the means to facilitate trade in goods and services as the most important thing in our lives we will lose the capacity for cooperation which originally built civilization.
