crosstimbers ranch bobcat release (WCCR)

The release of four of our release program bobcats from the Wildlife Center at Crosstimbers Ranch (WCCR).

This was a very special day. Two of the bobcats in this video were law enforcement confiscations from a cockfighting ring. They had been held captive, and tormented for the entertainment of people bringing their roosters to fight.

They were in our program for months; so traumatized that they would begin trembling and drooling at the mere sight of humans. It took extensive effort to get these guys stable enough to handle even the short ride to our release site.
