  • One thing that irks me about range creek is the egos of the archeologist involved. Their crews have done more damage in the brief time they have had to excavate then Waldo Wilcox's cows did in 50+ years. And how Krenee Barlow figures she and her colleagues "discovered" all these artifacts. As if Waldo Wilcox was ignorant to what was on his property.

  • Yeah, Waldo knew where a lot of items were located, but the archeologists have found a good amount of artifacts. I guess its easy when you have teams of interns digging around.

  • That was extremely well done.

How'd you get it online though? Youtube never lets me upload anything longer than 10 minutes.

  • Thanks!

You have to convert your video down to 100MB or less.

  • This is really good; very informative...did you edit this yourself? if so, what software did you use for this?

  • I did. Final Cut Pro.

  • I cant imagine the effort it would take to climb up these escarpments carrying loads of corn, let alone the building of such granaries in these remote heights.

rocks/water/mudd/corn... seems to me that it was too much effort and at a height that ruled out floods and also at times of need (winter) it would be suicide to access these areas, absolute suicide.

These were amazing people, with an amazing culture.

  • Looks so untouched and beautiful !!!!

  • Beautiful area-unspoiled as yet-can't get enough of this history.

  • I went there in July 2008, it was amazing. Visit this place before the government closes it to the public.

  • thanks for sharing this is way cool.

  • I thought the rancher was a pretty cool old guy.
