All the more reason to control your distance using broken rhythm...

No control, I guess they want to take each others head off?
Anyone can knock someone out with a kick, for bravado? *shakes head*

@gexxy47 imho - get a LOT of ring experience before you front up to Carl. (a) he hits/kicks hard (b) he has an awesome arsenal of techniques that he uses (c) he doesn't make too many allowances for opponents who can't adequately defend themselves. And to top that he's a great teacher and a pretty nice guy too! Ask him about the best defense against that kick - he'll tell you not to let him get into a position to deliver it.

@tachi203 Now you sir! are a great martial artist if you are one :). If not you'd make a great one.

@gexxy47 Good point :) I really shouldnt be explaining the mechanics of it to beginners. I only said it as "NMA12" is dishing out advice about simply holding ur hands up to counter that move(Which wouldnt help ya with that move as we should both know). So I'll shut up now :). PS. Totaly agree that was an amazingly ballzy first move(And yes it can be blocked, and moving away or dodgeing is only 1 way.)

@tachi203 it's cool that you explained it but everyone can see it dude. Also stop giving advice to amateur fighters ... even if you think you're not what you're saying is helping them. Lastly, that kick was ballsy.
