thar are no such things as High Security locks or pick proof locks. if you no what yah doing you can pick any lock. and some people may say this took you long thay ken do it faster but thare rong. with a high secure lock like this it takes time to properley feel the lock so you do not mess it up and have to start over. good job.

Great video mate, I want to get into disk detainer picking. Where did you buy your disk detainer pick? Ive seen some on deal extreme. are they any good?
-
Nice video, mate! Did you try to pick some abloy products?

No lock is pick-proof if given the right amount of time to pick and the right tools. It took 35 hours to pick the lock Bramah had sitting in his window, but it was still picked successfully.

hey, ive been think about buying one of these picks but i dont understand what i am suppose to be feeling for when picking the detainer disc. can you give me a better understanding of how you picks these type of locks?

Hi Red.
I have had a detainer pick for a couple of weeks now and was not getting anywhere with it was expecting a sort of lever lock feel to the detainers anyway not a lot of demos on here to get an idea from until I saw this one. I adopted your technique and hey presto just opened my first abloy style padlock I will keep on practising until I am fluent with it but at least now I am on the right track. Thanks for the superb demo.

8 discs and 2 sidebars and to anyone thinking about disasembleing one DON'T!! they are a MFer to put back together the cylender is spring loaded and flys apart when you try to insert it in the lock it took me over 1hr to reasemble it properly I took it apart after this vid to see what is was made of I was unimpressed (as everything seems to be made of some lightweight cast metal) and by the time it was back together i was thuroughly frusterated
so just ake my word for it dont take one apart

The proble is the driver slides out with the cylender and there is a tension spring between the driver and cylender no to mention the two balls that comprise the rest of the locking mechanisim after a little tweak to the spring arms and a little grease on the balls to hold them in place it went right together but it aint like most locks that almost fall together
