  • Imagine having him as a professor at Ithaca. 3 hours with him and you would have thought only 10 minutes had passed.

  • Thanks for that comment. I remember watching Twilight Zone at 11, then one night Rod Sterling's voice came to me and it was a narrative I never heard before. I wrote it down. And now I write songs, aphorisms and poetry as a hobby. All thanks to his inspiration.

  • I think it was Hemingway who said that about writing and bleeding.

  • Cool thanks!

  • A Man before his time!!

  • Wow, I never saw this before, thanks for posting! Rod Serling was a genius!

The original black and white Twilight Zones were awesome! The ones from the 80's were...well...good in their own write, but they can't hold a candle to the originals!

  • Rod Serling is the 20th centrury`s version of Edgar Allen Poe. pure genious!

  • I truly Miss this man. I grew up in the same town as he, Binghamton NY, and although I've never met him, his presence has always been felt.

  • @RandomConcepts i was thinkin Herb Alpert morphed with Dean Martin, lol =D

  • @ilsy74 Omg me too!!! This man was a pure genius.

  • I would have loved to have the chance to meet him. His Twilight Zone is my favorite TV series, even though they were made more than a decade before I was born.

  • What an amazing individual! Every one of these videos.....1 through 16 are timeless and priceless knowledge for writers in this world. Many of his story ideas (which I viewed as a child), influenced me to write music. His stories always seemed to be in the back of my mind when I composed.

  • ..AND I BLEED

  • Rod Serling was a most influencial and inspiration figure in creative writing in regards to influencing other writers. He was also one of television's greatest narrators.
