The paparazzi's take on the Forsyth Tech Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta 1996. My team of three designed and built the Mississippi Steam Boat, complete with steam whistle and smoke! We took first place!

I was so confident that it was seaworthy that I brought two of the kids along for the cruise! Fortunately, it didn't sink - the water was freezing.

The only fishin' going on was for a good mark.

I think a lot of the drinking was done in the planning and construction phase!

Yeah, some of the students weren't the most bouyant in the sea! Gilligan would have been a genius!

It really wasn't as much of an engineering feat as it was fortitude. You should have seen their final projects!!! (ironically, one showed up as a delivery guy at my work, where I was an engineer! - justice!)
