Part 1
Playing Dolly Dagger by Jimi Hendrix from First Rays of The New Rising Sun. I focused mostly on the funky chord voicings that make this song so great!
Tuned HALF STEP DOWN, Eb Ab Db Gb Bb eb. Jimi must have recorded this on a 22 fret guitar. Mine is only 21 fret so the last part of the solo didn't make it into this video. Check Part 2 for the end solo section:

  • If you could do a lesson of this, would be very helpful, im having trouble with some of the chords

  • Notice the use of the thumb, to play Hendrix properly you must use your thumb properly. Great cover man 5 stars!
