so heres the wood burning stove attached to the shop... it works pretty good. i still need to work on it a bit but the trial run is promising. i still have to seal the stove pipe so no smoke goes through my heat duct and build a fan shroud for a smaller fan to attach to front of the can but the heat output even with the crappy fan setup is pretty surprising.

  • Hey I found your video trying to get ideas for my shop. I was thinking you might want to run a second length of ductwork to the front of your stove from the inside of your shop and blow the air from in your shop out through the stove and back in. By doing this you will be heating up the warm air from your shop, insted of the cold air from outside wich should make it even warmer. Just an idea, I'm not an expert.

  • thats a good idea. ill have to try that

  • Well, okay then! Lookin good man! Check us out on ww w.4dirt.sc if you get a couple minutes ;)

  • Great heat coming out of the chimney!

The stove is gasifying, which is good! It may be better to build it so that that heat is in the cylinder rather than outside it then you will be able to capture it to heat the workshop.

  • looks good, the only thing i would do is get that chimney above the roof of the building. cheers
