thanks for posting this, loved this tune when i saw rumble fish years ago, searched for the title for ages , but if i remember correctly this isnt the actual recording from the movie is it? thanks

@johnnymccrowe I also heard this on Rumble Fish first & was the first Zydeco song I ever heard ...I looked for years till I found it but you are right this is a different version than in the movie ( I still havn't found that version)

@eseloco68 You are correct, there is a line from the version in the movie that goes "in the middle of a dream, I heard somebody call my name" I didnt hear that verse. Also she calls him "the sweetest man shes ever known"over and over in that version which I dont hear in this one. Still great to have! I couldnt even find a version to buy! Dont worry, YEARS from now after weve tired of it, it'll become a late hit with numerous versions circulating. At least thats the way it always works for me.
