Author Doug Fine demonstrates with humor and perseverence the hard-won benefits of his carbon neutral lifestyle in rural New Mexico.
Filmmaker Jason Ensler captures Fine on the remote Funky Butte Ranch in his local living misadventures that are the subject of his new book, "Farewell, My Subaru."
The continuing blog of Fine's renewable carnage is at www.dougfine.com.
I saw him in person, he did a lecture at my university :)

Doug Fine should get himself a Diesel Subaru (which isn't in the USA, sadly). Other than that, his efforts are very impressive.
