Although it has taken many hours of work (estimated at about 70 hours total), I have finally completed my recreation of the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror in Disney's Hollywood Studios (Orlando, Florida). This ride has been requested in the past by many of my subscribers, but I had always turned the requests down because I felt the ride was too immense and structurally complicated to be able to pull it off on Roller Coaster Tycoon 3. Fortunately, after much practice with the flying camera, film tricks, and strong attention to detail, I finally felt it was the appropriate time to attempt to recreate this ride.

For those of you who know the ride well, you'll notice that there are, of course, many inaccuracies. The ride itself, for example, is missing a lot of special effects, and parts of the queue are missing details. This inaccuracy, unfortunately, has nothing to do with my lack of knowledge of the attraction, but rather is inherent in Roller Coaster Tycoon 3; the game is too constricted to allow me to be as detailed as the actual ride is in real life. Hopefully, you'll keep these differences aside and take the recreation for what it is: a recreation in a game.

I just wanted to also take the time to thank all of you. You have all been cheering for me, which has kept me motivated to improve what I do and find new ways to impress you (and bring the magic of Disney's attractions to life). Some of you have been with me since the very beginning for the past few years, and I want to thank you for staying by my side this long. At this point, I have broke the 900-subscriber mark, and 1000 subscribers is right around the bend. It all would've been impossible to achieve without your support and dedication, so thank you again! You're the people I keep in mind when I sit down to design these recreations, and I'll hopefully hit that 1000-subscriber target soon.

As always, constructive criticism is welcome, but please remember that some things are impossible for me to do with RCT3. Also, please keep in mind that this recreation, as with all of my rides, are available only for viewing on Youtube or Facebook. The rides themselves, the audio I use, and the custom scenery I use are not to be downloaded on any website and are not for sale. I also cannot email them to anybody for copyright and personal purposes.

If you want to know the custom scenery I used, music featured, or any other pertinent information, please read the credits! I list all the information there!

To download all the custom scenery I use, please visit http://www.rct-theme-world.de/rct-liste/complete-list.htm. All custom scenery is alphabetized by author once you click on "Custom Scenery" under the header at the top of the page.

Finally, please help support me by subscribing to my Facebook fan page. High quality videos of my greatest attractions are available for viewing, as are construction pictures and discussion boards for ride requests, questions, and comments. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Steamboat-Productions/74234002925

UPDATE: CONSTRUCTION PHOTOS ARE NOW AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING ON THE STEAMBOAT PRODUCTIONS FACEBOOK FAN PAGE

Enjoy =)

  • How did you this

  • @ToonStudio2010 As per my usual response: time, patience, creativity, and attention to detail!

  • Your work is incredible! So accurate with the park and queue areas. Awesome, just awesome.

  • @Disneyismylife1970 Thank you so much! That means a lot coming from someone whose life is Disney (based on your username).

  • What type of ride did you use (roller coaster, drop tower, etc.)?

  • @MPQzy Neither.... this is all done with film tricks and camera angles, although the 5th dimension scene is actually the only part of the ride that is an actual ride: a roller coaster. Pretty neat, huh?
