This is how Spain and Venice saved Europe in one day.

Time to re-organize a new Catholic/Christian league, eh folks? We are in the new phase of a very old war.

@DeePhlat Turning the other cheek doesn't mean - has never meant - looking the other way!!!

@mosihasteen "But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also."

"and we will hold europe in their rotten lands and in their rotten dark ages"
I'm not European, tariq. And there are far more well-motivated Catholics in Latin America than what you could even dream of mustering. As far as Europe goes, if Europeans don't stop their slow descent to total, socialism-driven collapse on their own, they can go to hell as far as I'm concern. However, don't underestimate the Poles...

@ftorresgamez come on. we wait for you. and we will hold europe in their rotten lands and in their rotten dark ages

@1999521 ohh its not that. soliman had some defeats but a lot of great victories. in the siege of vienne. it was the nature how save you. in india ocean. it was the savavids how helped you. nd in lepanto. the only capable admiral dont have the chance to applic his plan. and if he had this chance. you will never been victorius in lepanto

@TheTariqibnziyad you´re wrong. Soliman, despite being the greatest sultan in turkish history, was defeated in Vienna, in Tunis, and the portuguese took control of the indian ocean commerce. And the turkish deafeat in lepanto cannot be excused just because of soliman´s death. The turkish commanders in Lepanto were capable, and the turkish fleet was much bigger.

@mosihasteen England we needed at that time, the test is that the Catholics defeated the Muslims without the help of the British

@TheTariqibnziyad This is just an opinion of yours. If the Holy Alliance had won at Lepanto, the Turks would certainly controlled the entire Mediterranean, certainly had invaded the Mediterranean islands, certain that the end had invaded Europe. The Mongols had they not been arrested in eastern Europe, had been defeated by Western Europe, Europe for some reason still exists, its culture and language, because nobody has been able to invade, or Turks, or Muslims.
The League was Spain, Venice and Genoa. The commander was a Spanish prince, Juan de Austria, not John of Austria and not Jean d´Autriche, as the British and French translate it in order to conceal Spain´s role in the battle. Miguel de Cervantes, Don Quijote´s author was there too. Behind Juan de Austria, too young and inexperienced, was Àlvaro de Bazán, the same man who cleaned up the Azores of British, French and Dutch pirates years later.
