While we have goals and form our action plans and strategies to attain the results we want, other people also have goals and commit to something for their lives or emotions.
Each of us were raised differently - we have different values, beliefs and experiences. Therefore, even though strategies are specific approaches we all should take, some people do have strong preferences and dislikes. Their strategies may be different from us under the same goals and situations.
Being aware of our own strategies and other people's strategies can help us avoid some major headaches. Some people say "Insanity is doing the same thing again and again even though it does not produce the result you want". Knowing that other people's choices of strategies can be different from us help us make more right moves and decisions.
While we prefer to use excellent strategies - out of our trainings and educations - some people may decide to use certain strategies such as "getting in our ways", "knocking us out of our confidence", or "do and say anything until we get upset".
Because some people advocate noble approaches as effective strategies, some people will do and say anything to get what they want. People who fight in the ring and those who fight in the streets, they use different strategies while the goal is to win.
What we consider "lousy strategies" may be regarded as "effective strategies" by others.
While we can not complain about other people's choices (about their strategies and actions), we must focus on the strategies and actions which align with our strong values, personal beliefs, living principles, and goals.
We must choose the strategies which will get us what we want - all that we want. We must aim for more than physical and intellectual or emotional success, we must aim for the person we would like to be.
Learning and applying strategies is an interesting, exciting and emotionally and spiritually rewarding subject.
It takes time and efforts. But anyone can be good at it - then you can make your dreams come true in the more interesting and rewarding ways.
