I'm thinking about getting this ball for when the lanes have lots of oil on and for medium oil use the wicked siege? or should I invest on the nexus f(p+f) for heavy oil lanes??

@bowlingballcom didnt they discontinue VR

The guy who drills bowling balls my local pro shop says that this ball didn't do anything for him. He said it barely hooked more than his plastic ball.

WOW! This balls reaction is...........just like every other brunswick ball out there. Storm nation baby!

I recently got a Ulti-Max, I decided to get it just looking at the info sheet on the bowling ball. I drilled it to be more aggressive on the back end. I have only bowled with it a few times but the back end reaction is great. On a typical house shot I can get it out to the 5 board. Same with the regional tournament I bowled recently.
Also for anyone noticing the comparison to the alpha... alpha has more overall roll and can cover more boards but the ulti has a higher angle of hook.

I have a question when you make your videos - How do you determine which layout you are going to use for each ball you are reviewing. I guess what makes you use a 45x4x30 layout on this ball and then 45x4x70 on the next I realize you are trying to mix it up. I just was wanting yo know if the layout you choose is something you need in your personal arsenal

@xxIceWaLLxx totally agree!!
Happy bowling guys..
which would be better for me this or victory road i bowl from somewhere about first arrow and i am med / low rev player and my home bowling alley has medium oily lanes and i have pretty high backswing and throw about 15 mph speed

@K1kk31992 Honestly, either one will work great for you. The ulti is more aggressive than the VR, so it all depends on what you're looking for the ball to do.
