The actual signing begins around 8:30 minutes into Bush's
remarks. "Let the shameful wall of exclusion finally come tumbling down!" Amen!

Good work, disability rights activists & President George H.W. Bush, for your hard work in getting this important piece of legislation passed! It has been a long, upward struggle for civil rights for those with disabilities. The principles of Life, Liberty & The Pursuit of Happiness is guaranteed to ALL Americans, regardless of race, creed, color, religion, disability or origin. These items aren't just for a chosen few, but for EVERYONE! Thank you, George H.W. Bush, for signing the ADA into law.

Thank you for posting this! The video ends just before Harold Wilke, holding out his left foot, accepts a signing pen from the President. What a glorious day that was: The end a of a long legislative struggle and a new beginning of an old struggle for civil rights for people with disabilities.
