We took a small 8 seat passenger plane to Culebra Island off the coast of Puerto Rico. It's a short flight of about 15 minutes with a fantastic view. The landing is quite challenging. You go through a narrow pass in a small mountain range and hug the right hand side and then a pretty sharp left turn to make the runway. Disneyland has nothing on this ride.

  • @AntonioSantiago ok i dont realy like puerto rico you can take your republic and do wathever you want!!!! :) every head is a word!!!!!!!!!

  • @hjestrella To me it is. Its MY republic..:)

  • @AntonioSantiago puerto Rico is not a republic

  • @jonny2387 Jonny, to MAZ Cape Air has service and American Eagle sometimes does too. Many airlines fly to Aguadilla which is very close to Mayaguez. At Aguadilla you may be able to find jobs at mainline JetBlue, PAWA Dominicana, Spirit, Continental, Fed Ex, UPS or Tradewinds.

Vieques Air Link is not charter, it's scheduled. But they dont fly to MAZ. Others include MN Aviation, Hill Aviation and San Juan Av.

Good luck in PR! Viva la republica de Puerto Rico!!

  • what other charter companies are out there in PR, because im about to get my commercial multi and my dad lives in mayaguez PR and im thinking about moving out there and looking for a job.

  • this is't N555DM it looks like N131JL, Look at the pilot's door glass.

  • As a former pilot for another BN-2A operator on these routes, I lived this every day for 2 years. It is definitely a great experience. Now I'm with Continental and I never forget my days on the BN-2A (Britten Norman Islander) This one looks like one of Isla Nena Air Services' airplanes. Perhaps N555DM? :-)

  • It is part of the adventure... but sounds noisier on the video than in real life.

  • ear plugs are a MUST in these flights!

  • LASA !!! The mighty triple 5 Delta Mike
