  • Your father served on a great ship. I'm sure glad she is now a museum in San Diego. Thanks for watching the video.

  • Being the U.S. military is being used to harm the White race I vote thumbs down. Nationalism is the way traditional Americans should be going, anything else is treason.

  • @MrBEB123 I wonder if you have ever served your country in ANY way, or do you just live here so you can keep on bashing it. Our Men and Women in the military protect your right of free speech. Try going to other countries where they don't have the freedom of speech and try bashing their military. I am very proud of my service to my country and will continue to support our troops even if the powers-at-be often make bad judgements in putting our troops in harms way.

Thanks for your kind comments about my site. In November of 1957 when I went aboard Midway in Bremerton, she was just finishing her first of many refits. The Coral Sea was also in drydock just begining her first refit. I took a photo of her which I sent to the Coral Sea web site several years ago. I have a pretty large web site on the Midway if you are interested. Google: MidwayJoes Navy.

Thanks for your service to our great country.

  • I wrote the song "When Desert Storm Is Over" in about 20 minutes. It was played all over the world on Armed Forces Radio. It was never released to stores, just radio stations. Joe
