@mikedowd66 So true.
-
timeless..

@dekindin but clever ones who drop the cleverness and let everything be become the enlightened ones.
-
I like how he switchs from ordinary boys to ordinary girls, subtle but nice tough.....the song flows seamlessly.
-
I love when he sings "In their rattling cars"

They are around here. In their rattling cars. Pricks. All I can hear is horns honking and lad banter. I'm trying to read Capital Vol. 1 by Karl Marx for fuck's sake! I need quite!!!

Viva Hate is an incredible record, and there should be no revisionist reissues without a great song like this.
-
this track will be out of the viva hate reissue.....replaced by treat me like a human being.

There's always some comfort in a stereotype, but Morrissey is an embarrassing symbol of Englishness. Negative about everything does not equal cool.

I cry everytime I hear this because I know it's so true - Morrissey is a mirror to the truth. Everytime I listen, I not only feel sad, but it evokes a flicker of hope, because I know that others feel the same frustration, and that I am surely not alone. If you ever feel you're misunderstood - Morrissey understands.
He is right, stupids are mostly happier than clever ones
