  • Piss and Moan Piss and Moan!

I have never heard anything by Justin Hayward i did not enjoy. I get the feeling if he gave most of you a million dollars, you would bitch that it had a stain on it.

No it does not sound like Smokey Robinson's version. It ain't Smokey! DUH!

If everyone sang everything alike, oh what a screwed up boring world this would be. Alright it is screwed up, but it could be worse. Get a life! Quit yer bitchin!

  • What? The guy has the most sensitive voice that ever drew breath.

  • many of the greats have their versions of Smokey's masterpiece....and Justin version is - great.

  • he sings from the soul...he misses his soul mate from another time and place...a love that could never be...and it will scare his soul forever until they meet again...how sad....he was probably a knight hundreds of years ago...

  • How precious.

  • Love the Moody Blues and Justin Hayward. Don't love the Classic Blue album. Sorry, it's a misstep. Not the songs or his singing but the heavy orchestral backing. It ruins everything. Why not Justin just acoustic with a guitar? that would have been great. He's long overdue for a genuine "unplugged" album. There were a few tracks from the Capistrano Live Concert album but it wasn't enough. Mr. Hayward, if you'happen to read this - Please do it!

You are dead right. I can recall hearing Smokey's songs as a preteen before the Drive-in movie started. I actually did not like Smokey until High School 1966-1970. Justin's version is pure Justin. I hope he does other favorites. You can feel the effort he puts into all his songs. Remember that Perry Como, Frank Sinatra, and Dean Martin sang their versions of our 50's-70's songs well.

  • I saw this live with Mike Batt singing backing vocals while conducting the orchestra. Never seen anyone do that before or since!

  • love all of Justin's songs, but none of his covers, (especially this one); it sounds odd hearing Justin sing anything other than what he has written; it seems false, unnecessary; yet, in covering the song of other artist's, Justin does pay a special tribute to the songs and songwriters

  • Jag älskar låten..i love the song...Justin rules

  • Embarrassing....lol

  • not as good as Smokey
