The truth is our industrial base is gone because it was replaced with the prison industry ... no more will we see our young having jobs where they can buy a cool car or get ahead. Why does our govt condone killing jobs in America and the promotion of manufacturing criminals?

Why are the kids going wrong? It's because the govt undermines the parent and allows the child to be bad ... it's called a corrrupt immoral govt!

@ben5017 For me, this is more about people having either too many kids, or having kids before they are prepared. Even is our system was perfect, the gov. can only do so much. As an adult, it is my responsibility to prepare myself, educate myself.......so that I can approach parenthood being fully aware of the commitment. Ultimately, the adults in these kids lives FAILED, therefore their children are at a higher risk to fail.

I was in Y.t.s when that one female staff got killed and thrown in a dumpster. they found her body at the dump outside the facility; we were on lockdown and chino p.d. were on the grounds searching for her, it was an M#s who did it so they transfered all the M#'s over to chino prison.

Needs to all start at home and in the communities...I was a counselor at CYA and those kids are way messed up by the time we got them. They need to bring back community based organizations to engage these guys while they are young, like midnight basketball, mentoring programs...counties need to use their money to monitor the social programs

M#7563 come on ppl,I was there for years you all know me Dusty! I was there when 2 staff died, about 7 girls got preg by staff, I was even there when a staff got preg by an inmate and had triplets! stories to be told ,,,stories to be told!!! CYA is very lucky I have not wrote a book yet! RIOTS,SEX,MONEY STOLEN BY WARDEN CARBJUAL AND WAS CHARGED YOU THINK THE INMATES WERE SCANLESS ,MOST WERE TRAINED BY THEIR STAFF! I ALSO LEARNED ALL MY LEGAL RIGHTS LIKE STATUE OF LIMATATIONS HAHA ,
