Falling|Chapter Five

I am addicted to this book. Seriously. The small Nick && Miley moments are adorable(:. I think there will be only like four characters.
Yeah. I'm weird that way. Ten comments for the next part;

My brown eyes were glued to the huge slash across her face. The blood it made me.. Cringe. I watched as the bright red blood oozed from her slash and run smoothly down her neck onto her white tank top. I gulped the vomit that was backing its way into my throat. I had this problem. Ever since I was six I hated blood. You'd think that since I was a small gross paste eating boy. Id be fascinated with blood. Nope. Once our teacher slipped and hit her head on the desk. Of course the class was laughing. I soon stopped as I saw the blood ooze down her neck as Miley's was. I remember clamping my hand over my mouth, trying to push the vomit back into my mouth. Instead I threw up all over the girl I had a crush on. Still to that last day in High School, she'd tease me about barfing on her overalls. Just like in the first grade, I clamped my hand tightly over my mouth. Thinking of course the vomit would leave peacefully. Instead Joe noticed quickly. "Nick.. please tell me you aren't?" Joe had this frightened look on his face. I nodded my head quickly and darted for the bathroom. I had my head hovering over the white toilet. I was gagging and making those disgusting sounds when you do throw up. I was maybe in there for about five minutes until my dinner from last night and this mornings cheerios were flushed away. Just like anybody who pukes, every time you try to stand up you get weak legs and almost fall. I heaved my body upward and almost saw the tiles coming toward me. I felt small arms hoist me upward. I turned around and saw it was Miley who was keeping me upright. She had gauze over her cut. Joe must of wrapped it quickly enough, she must have been wondering what happened to me. "Joe explained to me what throwing up meant." She told me. I sighed and stared at my haggard face staring back at me in the mirror. I already had bags under my eyes. "You should lay down." She told me in a sweet voice. "It'll make the dizziness melt away. As well as the gurgling stomach." I nodded and she took my arm willing. She led me to my cramped room I shared with Joe. She gently set me on the mattress and threw the cool covers over me. Even though its ninety degrees outside. It felt good to feel the cool sheets leaving goose bumps on my arms. She sat on the floor by my head. I stared at her beautiful face. I couldn't get over her lovely face. Beauty. That was all I could see when I saw her tan face. "Are you feeling alright?" She asked. I broke my gaze on her face and looked away. "Sort of. My stomach still feels twisting like. My head feels like its spinning." She smiled. "Well. At least your better." She said. I smiled slightly. She was staring at me for a while. Before I could say a word. "Whats wrong with your eyes? Their having bags under their eyes." She asked. "Its from no sleep. Its been hard adjusting to sleep here in Tampa." I told her. I barely knew this nut head and I was already telling her everything. She didn't respond. All she did was place a hand on my stomach. I froze. Its been four years since someone has touched me like that. Of course she didn't know what was wrong, and why I hate people touching me. I wasn't going to yell at her. That would be wrong. Instead her hand lightly touched my stomach. She didn't feel the deep scars beneath her fingers. Slowly I felt the knots and twisting in my stomach disappear. My eyes widen as I stared at her emotionless face. "Have a nice nap Nick." She wished me. She heaved herself off the mattress in a graceful way. She gently closed the door behind herself. Her footsteps became fainter as she walked down the hall. I could barely make out the words her and Joe were saying to each other. Soon my head was under water and I was fast asleep...
