I have a large Fresnel lense. I wonder how hard it would be to position the fiber optic at the exact focal point of light? Would it melt the end or would it pass through and be directable onto other surfaces?

What would happen if you put multiple laser beams all the same color into a fiber optic cable like that, would it collect all there power at the output be refraction, and then refocus the end of the rod using a lens... 10 beams in, 1 beam out focused?

very cool. Kinda wanted to know though, does it lose brightness on the end of the fiber if bounced off the sides more?
