The Oversight Committee holds a hearing, "Allegations of Waste, Fraud, and Abuse at the New U.S. Embassy in Iraq." The hearing examines the performance of the State Department and its contractors in the construction of the new $600 million U.S. embassy in Baghdad. • Vile blatant greed. A US embassy being built by slave labour. I cannot think of a more sarcastic slap in the face for the citizens of the united states, apart from the evil war in the first place. Research Ponerology and you will discover some amazing insight regarding the psychological condition that the people who make these decisions have.

  • We should call this what it is. Slavery. KBR engages in slavery.

  • You would not build the biggest embassy in the world, if your intentions were to capture Saddam and leave. That embassy was planned long before the invasion, that shows they were going into Iraq, wmds or not.

  • "Rory Mayberry, recalls that "there hadn't been any follow up on medical care. People were walking around intoxicated on pain relievers with unwrapped wounds and there were a lot of infections"

" In response to the allegations of the mistreatment, "It's bullshit," said al Absi. "Total bullshit.""

"Mayberry's testimony was later called into question after the Wall Street Journal investigated his employment and criminal history writing, including two for forgery, one for burglary"

    'Nuff said.
