  • @scottrod1974: I guess that makes me a senior citizen then. LOL!

  • Oh man I remember this... and then as the NWA and WWF blew up they had to change to another theme song. Always hated the RNR express. Love the Road Warriors, in the AWA, and the Midnight Express... But these guys were indeed over in the mid 80's... And definitely predated the Midnight Rockers.. Although neither of them could hold a candle to HBK...

  • @TheTechnoa The Rockers started their gimmick before they made it to WWF as promoters of the territories wanted their own version of the R-N-R Express

  • i bet the Rockers of the old WWF had a great influence of the R-n-R express

  • @jerzeefranky3475 Yep its the Mid-South tag titles

  • @rune143 - LOL!!! What I wouldn't have given to be sitting next to him :) Back in the day, I was one of the "teenyboppers" and would have given anything just to be that mat :)

  • My dad used to take me to the matches whenever they came to Charlotte - they are AWESOME entertainers. Thx for the footage!!!

  • the first wrestling match i ever seen i was 6 years old and it was the R&R express vs a nobody team but i was hooked ever since thanks

  • This is better than their Memphis video, but still cheesy, especially the shots of them singing the song to you. They're like that drunk redneck who feels the need to sing the words to you at a concert because he assumes you aren't hip to their true depth & meaning. Lucklily, the Express' ring ability compensated for these silly promos. OTOH, the clip's not all bad - Jim Cornette does get pie-faced.... I wonder where they found a promoter willing to pay for the rights to use the song?

  • What tag titles are they wearing in this vid?...Are they the Mid-South 1s?...Or another territorys?...
