  • Where is Part1?

No matter, Truecrypt's recording is better.

  • Part 1 is there, I linked all parts by "video response"... or check out to the right - under "related video".

Recording (audio itself) may be better due to better equipment... as for the *spirit* - Sofronitsky is unsurpassed.

  • Humility is a good (and necessary) quality.

But at my age (70), I'm getting a bit tired of undeserved modesty. You have the talent to know how well you play, and so do I. "Know Thyself", and I think you do.

    Your playing has me thinking of trying again;

perhaps you should think about it, too.

What you have (and are), the world sorely needs. I know whereof I speak.

I say this as a friend and a huge admirer, PLEASE think about it.--Stuart

  • Thank you, Stuart!

    I don't deserve such kindness...

    But THANK YOU!

  • That is, I had meant that of the Andantino.

  • And this is the prelude I want to see my nephew nursed to the sound of.

  • Thank you to share with us this marvelous interpretation!

  • Nice.

  • truecrypt - thanks for the uploads....i am understanding that you also have performances here..i can't find them - as i would love to enjoy your playing too, as a fellow pianist!

  • 1)Thanks, I see it now.

2)I was not referring to the "audio". I was speaking of the performance. His is a very fine one, one of the best. But it is surpassed--by you. I have never heard it (Op.28, as a whole) played better. Nothing is missing, everything is there--technique, musicality, spirituality.

Two examples: a)The G major--where so many pianists just rush through it, you make of it a joyous song.

    Just beautiful. b)The F# minor--it soars like an eagle--just as I imagine it.--(cont.)
