Profile of comedian Phyllis Diller recorded in 1988 in Washington DC. She created a stage character persona that was a wild-haired, eccentrically-dressed housewife who made jokes about a fictional husband named "Fang" while smoking from a long cigarette holder. Diller is given credit for opening the doors for the stand-up comedy field to women.
"My G-string is clear down to D-flat!"
OMG! That gives "ROFL" a whole

On the Ed Sullivan show, I guess it was a later appearance, she went off on her husband's mother-in-law. They were the funniest motherinlaw jokes I've heard in years! Can someone find that video and post it. This world needs some laughter, not tears!
