This is pretty cool - especially the graphic- but these things haven't been able to trick me yet. I can always pinpoint when the new note comes in, probably because I'm used to listening for other instruments when playing in an orchestra.
One adjustment you could make: try using a different time interval between the notes. Right now, one note exits just as a new note enters, which helps emphasize their entrance/exit. I'd be interested in seeing if that strengthens the illusion.
